Go-live: Co-polis for VNAB
VNAB, the trade association for the business insurance market, works together with its members on the objective Contract Certainty. An optimization drive aimed at a chain-wide improved work process in business insurance. The Co-polis project with VNAB, which Fenêtre started last year, contributes to this objective.
The first part of Co-polis is now live! Which means cancellations are now sent via the new, joint platform.
“VNAB and Fenêtre have been working together on the integrated IT platform for almost 15 years.”

The new platform
The collaboration between Fenêtre and VNAB is close, we have been working together on the VNAB integrated insurance IT-platform for more than 15 years. This provides digital support to more than 10,000 users across all applications in their work.
All VNAB members use the new Co-polis platform, an online application in which the quotation and closing process - including associated communication - will be supported digitally. This requires a fundamental change in the way these insurance policy processes are carried out today.
Supporting the transition
To ensure this transition runs as smoothly as possible and to achieve end-to-end operational excellence, VNAB has offered training courses. More than 400 employees have followed these courses to master the functionalities of the first version of Co-polis as quickly as possible.
As Christy van Buren, manager IT & Change at VNAB herself states: “We have not only delivered the first part of Co-polis together with our members, but at the same time we have ensured that all members are committed to using Co-polis. This confirms the importance they attach to realising a digital and efficient co-insurance chain."

Solutions
Launching the first Co-polis component for all VNAB members
When this project went live, it was decided together with the VNAB and its members to first deliver an MVP. The go-live was divided into two steps: a technical and a functional go-live. The first technical delivery gave users time to prepare a few things in the application. The go-live of the functionalities took place approximately one month later. From that moment on, it is possible to send cancellations via the Co-polis platform.
Determine and further develop next steps for Co-polis
Now that the first part of Co-polis has been delivered, the application can be further developed. Together with the members, the order of the roadmap is determined so that the functionalities that add the most value are developed first. In addition, optimizations are implemented for the current functionalities based on user experiences.
Result
- The first part of Co-polis has been live since June 1
- For more than 1000 users
- At 96 members of the VNAB
